On Saturday, May 11, 2013, family, friends, faculty and staff gathered at First Christian Church in Georgetown to celebrate Baptist Seminary of Kentucky’s ninth commencement ceremony. The commencement address was delivered by Dr. Greg Barr, pastor of St. Matthews Baptist Church in Louisville.
The 2013 graduating class included six students who received their Master of Divinity degrees:
Rebecca Brown completed her degree with a concentration in Pastoral Care and Counseling. She is an on-call chaplain at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, and is also employed as an emergency medical technician with United American Security, LLC. Rebecca is a member of Living Faith Baptist Fellowship in Elizabethtown.
Sara Clarke is minister with youth at Buechel Park Baptist Church in Louisville, beginning in April of this year. Previously she served as a youth minister at Melbourne Heights Baptist, Louisville. Sara is a 2009 Georgetown College graduate and recipient of a CBF Leadership Scholarship while attending BSK.
Brittany Krebs is the former minister of music at Buechel Park Baptist Church in Louisville. Brittany, a native of Danville, and daughter of Rev. Keith and Diane Stillwell, graduated from Samford University. She and her husband, Kyle, are currently residing in Greenville, SC.
Andrew Noe joined the Buechel Park Baptist Church staff in August 2010 and is currently the minister to children, families, and young adults. Andrew, a Georgetown College graduate, lives in Georgetown, with his wife, Hannah.
Dan O’Neil was introduced to BSK through Highland Baptist Church in Louisville. Dan is owner and voice talent at Dan Said That Productions. He is currently serving as an interim minister for Canmer Baptist Church in Hart County. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two sons and reside in Jeffersonville, IN.
Charlie Perkins is an attorney in Scott County and an active member of Faith Baptist Church, Georgetown. He is an avid reader and processor of theological thought. Charlie and his wife Sharon live in Georgetown and relish time spent with their grandchildren.

The traditional graduates’ dinner was held on the campus of Georgetown College on Friday evening, May 10th. BSK presented each graduate with a paten and chalice, and the 2013 class gave the Seminary composites of all previous graduating classes and a chime bowl for use in chapels. Josh Speight of the Kentucky Baptist Fellowship spoke and gave a gift to the graduates during this time of recognition and fellowship.
