As of February 2013, Baptist Seminary of Kentucky has been granted Candidacy for Accredited Status (an unaccredited status) by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada.
The Seminary is currently engaged in a period of institutional self-study (February 2013-February 2015). A major component of this evaluative process is the publication of a self-study report which will be submitted to the ATS Board of Commissioners for review.
