Placement

Rev. Jeremy Shoulta, BSK ’10, Pastor of Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, GA; Rev. Bert Montgomery, BSK ’07, Pastor of University Baptist Church in Starkville, MS

84% of Baptist Seminary of Kentucky graduates are currently serving in a ministry-related vocation.* The majority work as pastors in local congregations; many also serve as chaplains and pastoral counselors. Those who do not enter into ministry make their livings in diverse fields ranging from law to non-profits while serving their churches as lay leaders. In short, BSK’s mission to prepare men and women for life and ministry in faithful witness to Jesus Christ is being borne out by our graduates in local churches throughout the region.

Placements through BSK

The Director of Admissions serves as the primary point of contact between the Seminary and local churches/ associations regarding open ministerial positions. The Seminary encourages students and/or alumni searching for a position to contact the admissions office and submit a current resume. A current list of ministry opportunities can be found here.
