bap orient ed_029Baptist Seminary of Kentucky students assume a variety of ministerial roles while attending and after graduating from seminary. We proudly stand behind our track record of placing five out of every seven graduates in a ministry-related vocation. The majority work as ministers in local congregations; chaplaincy and pastoral counseling are also prominent careers among BSK alumni. Those who do not enter into ministry make their livings in diverse fields ranging from retail to law while serving their churches as lay leaders. In short, BSK’s mission to prepare men and women for life and ministry in faithful witness to Jesus Christ is being borne out by its graduates in actual churches and in the real world.

The Director of Admissions serves as the primary contact person between the seminary and local churches and agencies regarding open ministerial positions, informing students of such placement opportunities when they arise and offering support during the application process. However, many members of our faculty also assist students by making personal recommendations and by reaching out to their own networks on behalf of our students. At Baptist Seminary of Kentucky, our dedication to our students extends beyond the walls of the classroom.
